Course Description

The first hole is a par 3 up hill from the club house. The next 7 holes range from a 500+ yd par 5 to a 170yd par 3 which you need to carry all the way, the 9th hole I notice is sponsored by the local undertaker and I am sure is the death of many good cards. At a reasonable price per day Gatehouse is a good course and great value.

Gatehouse golf club provides even the most experienced players with a challenge, both par three are as inviting as any for a possible hole in one opportunity, but also the chance of a costly five or six! Prices for the day are reasonable, and if you are up there for any period of time then you can almost play for nothing by getting to know some of the locals in the village.!! Views over the Solway Firth are tremendous form the 1st, 2nd and 9th but equally breath taking are the views over the cairnsmore of fleet from around at the back of the course.
