Kirkcaldy golf clubs clubhouse has undergone major changes in the recent past and can arguably claim to be one of the finest clubhouses in Fife. The course, although relatively short in yardage, is challenging. It places an emphasis on accuracy, both from the tee and the fairway. An accurate drive will leave a relatively short approach shot on the majority of holes but miss the greens and the fringe/rough is severe enough to make even the most skilful of players have difficulties in making par. The greens are unusually undulating and quick for a parkland course, even though they are smaller in size compared to most, finding the green with an approach does not guarantee a 2 putt. Overall, an enjoyable and challenging course well worth a visit.
