Course Description

This was the scene of possibly my finest golfing moment to date. My tee shot on the par 4 17th took me towards the bottom of the fairway below the level of the green, just into the rough, whilst my friend Mike, his brother Scott and his Dad were to the right of the fairway. My second shot, a 9 iron, looked very impressive in the air from where I stood but I had no idea where it was to land. As I put my club away I heard shouts of 'It's gone in!'. Being mystified by these cries I asked 'What has?'. The end result was that my ball had taken 2 bounces and dropped straight in for my first ever eagle. I felt somewhat cheated that I didn't see the end result.

However, a few short moment's later we were in the 19th, enjoying a hot meal and reminiscing over a pint, my 2nd on the 17th, which I couldn't hear being described enough. This is a thoroughly enjoyable course that was in fantastic condition with plenty of challenging holes.
