Course Description
By Jack Mcguinn, hdcp 8, (jmc@icdc.com)
I played Rosemarkie on a windy day and found it interesting. It sits on a spit of land jutting into the Moray Firth across from Fort George. The water can be seen from every hole. The course turns at the Par #5 by a lighthouse; it is really pretty. Only 5600 yards, but relaxing and with small greens and wind a test, a ''crackers'' course.

I played the afore mentioned course while on holiday in Rosemarkie. I was introdeced to a very friendly gentleman called George who was a retired Rover car salesman. George graciously offered to show me around the course. As a very inexperienced player I was very pleased to have been introduced to links golf by such a kind and helpful gentleman. I found the course both interesting and exilerating. Having views of the sea from every hole and playing on an exelently kept course I have vowed to return. My I offer my thanks once again to George and all the staff at Fortrose and Rosemarkie Golf Club.
