Course Description

Woodland course with very tight fairways. Most greens are well surrounded with bunkers and are quite small. 6th hole is very interesting which is surrounded on three side by water. Although this course is very short you have to be quite accurate from the tee. At present it is only 9 holes but there are plans to expand it to 18. United Arab Emirates Golf Association.

I'm a member of Pumpherston Golf Club myself as a junior and I feel that this course to anyone who has never played this course before and plays it for the first time will be struggling for a good score.

This course is a tough challenge for players of all handicaps with tight fairways and small greens. This is a great course that will only get better with the future developments currently in progress. The vast water features and small bunkers surrounding every green add to the beauty of this course. Pumpherston has a great number of enthusiastic junior members, some of which have played for the Lothians and Scotland. The junior league team actually one something last year which is a great achievement. We hope the plan for the new course is a great success.
