Course Description
A course once described as the place where 'Golf, beauty and the social life, go hand in hand' . In the warm summer months when the skies are clear it has some of the most uplifting views to be found anywhere in the world. Although not one of this fair country's longest courses, if a golfer achieves a score under par here, he or she will have played exceptionally well. With the winding fairways climbing up the hillside, across the gorges and valleys, before leading back down to the club house and finishing over the meandering burn, you will know that you have played over a good golfing challenge.

Played on 8/31/99. Weather was light drizzle and about 60 degrees F. Shot 82. First few hole never seem to stop going up but once you get up there the view is out of this world. This course is the best way to see all of the central highlands with out having to drive all over on the wrong side of the road. The course winds its way around hills and valleys and is very enjoyable plus a good work out. It is also a great bargain and a fairly quick round (about 3 hours).
Most interesting holes are #4 going up hill at the end with a blind shot of about 110 yards over a high rough covered hill to a hidden green. Then #5 comes way down the hill from the tee where with the right wind you can hit a 400 yard drive to the green.

Played this course, two rounds, in early June. No wind, the occasional rain drop but OK. Excellent views when on top of the golf course, but 'O Boy' are you in for a walk to get there. Holes 1,2 and 3 are straight up the hill, quite challenging even without the hill. The view from out there down the valley is stunning. The rest of the course is also good, quite challenging while not being very long. I hit irons from the tee on most holes and only had short irons in. Greens quite hard to hit and drives on some holes have to be in the exact spot to be in play. One of the par 3's, where you play through a 50-yard drop, had the interesting feature of seven peacocks in one of the bunkers....... While the fairways where good, the greens where quite slow and bumpy. To be fair, the weather in the spring had been all but good, explaining the condition. Play was very fast, and we (a 2 ball) finished two rounds in under 6 hours. When I go back I will go back later in the season so that the greens have a better chance of being in mint condition (as I'm told they can be).
