It is often the unexpected that provides the best memories. My round at Stonehaven was like walking on a cloud with a perfect view of coast and sea below. I had the course to myself and would compare the experience to my day at Pebble Beach.
The routing was a challenge to follow once or twice.
The rail line and rail bridge add character and interest.
